Manjushri, also known as Jampeyang (Tibetan), is the Buddha and Bodhisattva of intelligence and wisdom. He holds the sword in his right hand, symbolizing cutting through the darkness of ignorance, and a Buddhist scripture in his left hand, symbolizing the accomplishment of insight and wisdom.
