Vajra & Bells
The vajra and bell are the most basic and essential ritual implements in the practice of Tibetan Vajrayana Buddhism. They are used during most of the practices and rituals, the vajra representing skillful means and compassion while the bell represents wisdom and emptiness. The vajra and bell are always used together, holding the vajra in the right hand while playing the bell with the left hand, symbolizing the inseparable unity of compassion and emptiness.
